Today on Tea & Tattle podcast, Sophie and I are chatting about the Japanese lifestyle concept of Ikigai. Similar to our conversations on Hygge, Lagom and Wabi-Sabi, we remark on how much we enjoy gaining further understanding about ourselves and how to live better by examining ideas from other cultures.
Ikigai roughly translates as 'the happiness of always being busy,' and essentially means striving to find your purpose in life. In this episode, Sophie and I share tips for how to identify your own ikigai, why understanding what truly lights you up is important for time-management, and what thinking more about ikigai has taught us both.
